Smile

Chew from the back of your mouth. After about an hour you will feel that your jaw muscles are getting exhausted. Chew a gum daily during your gym sessions. It’s an effortless way to get improved and strong jawline. But overdoing can have an adverse effect, so be cautious.

Neck curl-up

This is like an abdominal curl for the neck. You can perform it while lying on your back and your tongue should be pressed on the roof of your mouth. This will activate your front neck muscles.

Now, bring your chin towards your chest and lift your head about 2 to 3 inches off the ground. Don’t poke your chin out and keep your stomach flat.

Start with 3 sets and 15 repetitions. Steadily achieve more.

Don’t rush through it, as these muscles are often underdeveloped and might cause strain if you rush.

You can perform this face exercise for jawline in a standing position, while you are seated or lying on your back.

To do it, keep your head flat with the ground, bring back your head to feel muscles on both sides of your throat contract and relax.

You can take start with 2 sets of 15 repetitions, and then gradually progress to hold the same position for 30 seconds or more.

Ensure that your ears are over your shoulders and the head remains level.

Tongue twister

Tongue twister targets your muscles that are under the chin.

Now press the tongue to close the roof of the mouth and add some pressure.

Start humming and create a vibrating type of sound.

Complete 2 sets of 20 repetitions.

Vowel sounds

These vowel sounds will target the muscles on the lips and around the mouth.

Open your mouth and say “O,” then “E.”

Start with 3 sets of 10 repetitions and increase gradually.

Chin-up

This face exercise for jaw will lift the muscles of your face and chin.

With closed mouth, push your jaw out and try to lift your lower lip.

You will feel a stretch under the jawline and chin.

Hold for 15 seconds, then ease.

Perform 2 sets of 15.
