Try to say long “o” after that “e,” using more power than normal and overstressing mouth movements.

Make a fake smile

As the name represents, make a fake smile and then extend your jaw forward so that you can touch your lips together. Try to use your back jaw muscles to push your jaw forward. Touch your lips only from the centre. Hold the same position for about 15 to 20 seconds and then release.

When performing this facial exercise to get rid of jowls, focus on the muscles around your jaws and mouth. You can use your both index fingers on side of the mouth to isolate the jaw muscles.

Make a squished smile

Another way to work on your jaw muscles is to make a squished smile and then push your jaw forward to pact the muscles under the lips.

You can confirm that you are performing this exercise correctly by softly placing 2 or 3 fingers on both sides of your mouth, just under your lips.

For this facial exercise, it would be much better to look in a mirror while you perform it. This is because you should keep your facial muscles as relaxed as possible while you perform this exercise.

Lastly, when you are performing it for the last time, hold the same position for about 15 to 20 seconds.

Change up the exercises

When about to perform these facial exercises, pick any one or two exercises to focus on for 1 or 2 weeks, and then move forward to another exercise. This will help target the facial muscles from different points so that you can get rid of jowls.
